OPTICAL SYSTEM DESIGN
Optical Design
STEP 1
——
The so-called optical system design is to determine various data that meet the usage requirements based on the usage conditions, that is, to determine the performance parameters, external dimensions, and structure of each optical group of the optical system. Therefore, we can divide the optical design process into four stages: external dimension calculation, initial structure calculation, aberration correction and balance, and image quality evaluation.
In JC OPTICS, our optical design engineers use ZEMAX to design the optical part according to customers' requirements.
Mechanical Design
STEP 2
——
The structural design of optical lenses requires accurate positioning and reasonable fixation of each optical component to ensure the optical performance of the lens. For most non zoom and straight axis lenses such as photographic objectives, microscope objectives, telescope objectives, and eyepieces, their basic structure consists of a lens, a compression ring, a barrel, and a spacer.
